The Gippsland Campus Representative represents and is elected by all postgraduates enrolled at Gippsland. He is subject to the direction of the MPAEC and is the official representative of the MPA in dealing with the Gippsland Campus and shall report to the MPAEC on any such dealings.
The Gippsland campus represenative is responsible for:

chairing all MPAEC Gippsland-based meetings or committees

liaising with other office bearers regarding Gippsland-based issues

initiating Gippsland-based activities and events

developing and maintaining communication with the Gippsland-based postgraduates
Background
I am from India. A Gold Medalist in Law, I completed my undergraduate degree in 2007, from Karnatak University Dharwad, India. Presently, I am a Monash Scholarship holder pursuing Master’s by Research at the School of Business and Economics, Gippsland Campus.
I have always loved to be part of any association helping the community around me and have held posts like the Secretary of the Legal and General Awareness Group, Secretary of the Debating Union, at the undergraduate college, President of the Interact club in secondary school and have also captained the cricket and soccer teams at various levels.
Research
My field of research focuses on the use of Internet, ICT, Digital Technology and E-Commerce by SME’s: Legal Issues and Internet Security. The research looks into the adequacies and inadequacies of law governing the use of this technology by SME’s the world over, in their day-to-day business and providing a legal regime for such use.
Personal interests
Presently, I am learning French at the Monash Short Courses Center. I am a good orator,. love to play sports like cricket, soccer and badminton and also like to travel.
