Purpose of the Vice-president position is to focus on the organisational aspects of the Executive Committee activities and those of the MPA as a whole. The role is to provide support for the MPA President, and deputise for the President  when necessary. Also the Vice-president undertakes the duties of Treasurer and oversees the financial operations of the MPA.

Background

Born and bred in Kuwait, I relocated to India to further my academic studies in the field of Business. I acquired my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Lucknow in India. I then went on to start my career in the field of Finance and was lucky enough to get a break with one the biggest private sector banks in India as an Admin Assistant cum Sales Trainer. I gradually moved on from the operational side of banking to investment advisory and ended up as a sales manager for wealth management products. After gaining 3 years of work-experience in the corporate world I decided to once again further my qualifications by obtaining a master degree in finance, and here I am. I hope to one day start my own financial services consultancy firm but as of now – Hey! Ancora Imparo!

Personal interests

I enjoy socialising, eating out and travelling. I like to keep myself updated with the latest news and current affairs; it has become a sort of an addiction lately. Besides this I love extreme sports like bungee jumping, sky diving and white water rafting. I couldn’t help but mention my love for fragrances and anything to do with aroma. If I wasn’t a banker I probably would have been a food critic or a chef. I totally love cooking and making others around me, eat. Dinner at my place anyone?
