Seminars
Important information for honours students
Honours students often have very similar needs to research postgraduates and the MPA sees the need for honours students to have similar access to the same support in terms of generic professional and personal development seminars. This is why you received our orange booklet, The MPA guide to postgraduate progams, in the mail at the beginning of the semester.
Most sessions listed in the MPA guide require you to make an online booking from your portal. You then select the booking system you require: either MPA, Library or ExPERT.
However, as the booking system is programmed to recognise only postgraduate students, and by university definition honours students are technically undergraduates, you may experience some problems booking sessions via the computerised system. If this is the case you will need to call the relevant area and your booking can be made over the phone.
For MPA sessions please call 9905 3197
For Library sessions please call 9905 5054
For exPERT sessions please call 9905 9976
(NB: Subject to availability. Research postgrads are given priority at exPERT seminars.)
