4th annual postgraduate research symposium

This symposium gives postgraduate students a platform to engage with other students and staff about their current research and build on existing public speaking and presentation skills. We aim to foster an inclusive ‘research atmosphere’ by providing staff and students with the opportunity to learn more about the specific research being undertaken outside individual labs and departments. There will be several sessions for free communication in the form of poster sessions and oral presentations. Attendance is free and the faculty invites you to join colleagues and presenters for lunch at the conclusion of the symposium. Plenary speakers will add a careers focus and students will be judged by a panel of postdocs with prizes awarded for outstanding presentations.

Date: Wednesday 30 September, 9:00am – 1:30pm
