Postgraduate facilities

Postgraduate lounge

A postgraduate room is located in Room G24, ground floor, Scott Building. The postgraduate room contains lounge and kitchen facilities including a TV/DVD/CD
player, a fridge, coffee machine with fresh ground coffee and tea, couches, chairs, table, Time, Bulletin and New Scientist magazine subscriptions and one computer. It is
used as a meeting space and relaxation place. The room is connected to the wireless network.

Postgraduate notice board

There is a postgraduate notice board in the foyer of the Scott building. Scholarship information and job opportunities are often posted here.

Representation

The Monash Postgraduate Association (MPA)

The MPA represents and serves the interests and welfare of postgraduates enrolled on all Victorian campuses by providing activities and services to cater to their specific needs.

The MPA provides a range of services including advice and advocacy, seminars and workshops, social events and representation.  Enrolled postgraduates are automatically entitled to use the resources and services of the MPA.

Parkville Postgraduate Association (PPA)

The PPA (formally the VCPPA) is the representative body for postgraduate students at Monash University's Parkville campus.

They play a diverse and multi-faceted role in all aspects of student life & academic, cultural and social. As well as organising a multitude of social events, they provide a means of representation for postgraduate students on the Parkville campus. Visit their website for more details.

exPERT DVDs - A number of exPERT DVDs are now available for loan from the library. Please contact Hong Bernard, Liaison Librarian, on x 39615 to make arrangements for borrowing.
