There is strength in numbers! Find the motivation to stick to a healthy fitness routine by participating in our regular group fitness activities run by the MGA.

On paper, it seems like a no-brainer: regular exercise will make you look better, feel stronger and live longer! In reality, it’s hard for many of us to muster the motivation to see it through. But what if we told you the MGA can help out with your fitness routine for FREE?

The MGA hosts a wide range of weekly and one-off fitness sessions exclusively for Monash graduate students. From yoga, walking groups, and self-defence classes, to cycling groups, tai chi, badminton, soccer and Zumba – we have it all going on throughout the year.

  • Tap into the ‘What’s On’ calendar available on the front page of our website to see what’s happening on your campus. Instructions on how to subscribe to our calendars can be found here.
  • Keep an eye on the MGA’s Facebook and Instagram pages for updates and  great one-off classes popping up on different campuses throughout the year.

Group Fitness News & Updates

  1. Like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram, or check our calendars from time to time as some of these programs and activities are dependent on weather conditions, volunteer and staff availability.
  2. The MGA is currently trialling some of these programs so if the take up rate is low, there is a possibility of it being discontinued.
  3. The MGA fitness program does not run on national public holidays and university holidays.
